Learn About AWANA

Awana is a fully integrated program that helps churches and parents raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ! We do this through:

  • Fully integrated programs that encourage Bible memorization
  • Evangelism tools to reach unsaved children, youth, and families
  • Teaching that builds an enduring biblical faith
  • Resources bringing churches and parents together to disciple the next generation
  • Initial and ongoing volunteer training
  • Healthy mentor and peer relationships
  • Dynamic fun for children, teens and adults alike!

Awana participants are divided by age into the following groups:

Cubbies Pre-School
Sparks K-2nd Grade
T&Ts 3rd – 6th Grade

Awana is held at Shoal Creek on Sunday nights from 5:15 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. during the school year.
