Senior Saints
One of the first things you’ll notice about Shoal Creek Baptist Church is its active group of senior saints. This group, made up of believers 55 years of age and older, is a source of support and experience that lends wisdom to the younger believers at SCBC.
Led by Mary Kellam, or “Mrs. Mary” as she is affectionately known, the Senior Saints enjoy a time of lunch, learning, and fellowship on the third Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. During this time of sharing, the group enjoys a devotional, discusses opportunities for service and ministry, and raises funds for worthwhile projects.
The Fourth Sunday in April is set aside each year for recognition of Shoal Creek’s Senior Saints.
