Pastor Gary Linville and wife Heather came to Shoal Creek in January of 2014. Prior to coming to Shoal Creek, Bro. Gary served as Pastor (First Baptist Church in Hickory Flat, MS), Associate Pastor (Ingomar Baptist Church -New Albany, MS) Pastor (Old Oak Grove Baptist Church -Myrtle, MS) Children’s Minister (Cedar View Baptist Church – Olive Branch, MS) Assistant Director of Admissions/Ministerial Recruiter (Blue Mountain College – Blue Mountain, MS) He has held positions with both the Police and Sheriff Department’s and also served as Chaplain for the DeSoto County Fire Services. He Holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Blue Mountain College and he is currently seeking his Master’s Degree.
Heather is currently serving as the Interim Preschool Director. She has been an educator for 15 years serving as an English Teacher, Assistant Principal, and District Administrator at schools in North Mississippi. Gary and Heather also founded and were co-owners of The Warehouse Fish and Steak Restaurant in New Albany, MS. And owners of The Mountain Fountain Coffee Shop on the Campus of Blue Mountain College.
Bro. Gary and Heather welcomed their son Jackson Quinn Linville on January 23, 2015.

Gary has been a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church for nearly 60 years and currently serves as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama and retired from the BP chemical plant in Decatur in 2009 after 34 years.
Gary's lovely wife, Ann, retired in 2015 after 25 years teaching 3rd and 4th graders at Priceville Elementary School. Mrs. Ann serves as the church hostess and prepares the delicious meals on Wednesday nights as well as meals for numerous special events during the year.
Gary and Ann have two children, Leigh Ann and Stephen, who were raised and baptized at Shoal Creek. Leigh Ann is married to Jay Blackwood and they have given us the greatest grandchildren in the world, Wesley and Elizabeth. They are very active in their church, Enon Baptist, in Morris, Alabama. Stephen's lovely wife, Jessica, also grew up at Shoal Creek. Stephen was licensed into the ministry by Shoal Creek and he and Jessica are currently serving as Church Revitalization missionaries in Morgan County.

Associate Pastor of Families and Students
Bro. Caleb Smith, his wife Mallory, and their two kids, Parker and Keeley came to Shoal Creek in September 2014 from Suwanee, Ga. They are both originally from Tupelo, MS. Prior to Shoal Creek - Caleb has served as Youth Pastor (North Gwinnett Baptist Church in Suwanee, Ga), Youth and Worship Pastor (Community Church in Mahomet, IL), and Interim Youth Pastor (Hope Church in Tupelo, MS). He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, MS.
Mallory is a licensed beautician who has been blessed to stay at home and raise their two children.

Minister of Outreach and Worship Development
Bro. Steadman has a long history with Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He grew up and spent 18 years of his life at Shoal Creek. He accepted Christ as his Savior, was baptized and even surrendered to vocational ministry all at Shoal Creek. Steadman left and started working at Decatur Baptist Church as the ministry assistant to the Worship Pastor. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a B.S. in Religion and Biblical Studies.
Steadman and his beautiful wife, Holly, were married at Shoal Creek June of 2016. Holly is an RN with a BSN from the University of Alabama. Steadman enjoys serving on the ministerial staff and ministering to the members of Shoal Creek and its surrounding communities!

Minister of Music
Joe and his wife Kim came to Shoal Creek in 2003. Since January of 2006, Joe has served as Music Minister. Previously, Joe led worship for First United Methodist Church, Falkville First Baptist, Flint Baptist, and Friendship Baptist.
Joe loves leading God's people in worship. He has authored several dramas for the SCBC Creek Bank Players drama program, including "The Purchase" and "The Redneck Who Saved Christmas". Joe also plays piano and has written several original songs.
He and Kim claim four children - two by birth and two by marriage. Daughter Christen and her husband Hunter live in Priceville with their children Ginny Kathryn, Turner David and Walker Holmes Teague. Son Ben and his wife Sarah live in Greenville, SC with their Alaskan Husky Kobi.

College Pastor/Associate Youth Minister
Lynn and husband Barry followed their two sons to Shoal Creek, joined and baptized in 2000. Lynn and Barry both gave their heart to Jesus as youth in Cherokee County, AL. Since joining, each having served in various volunteer rolls, currently Barry is chairman of deacons and Lynn is Church Clerk. Lynn just joined staff as Financial Secretary in November 2016, previously employed as Senior Accounting Coordinator for 37 years at a major corporation.
Russell and his wife Tiffany are Shoal Creek members serving on the Praise Team and as Sunday School Teachers with two beautiful daughters - Scarlett and Lily. Ryan and his wife Heather live in Killen AL, he serves as Youth Pastor at Faith Church in Florence while Heather is his ministry team partner - she also does photography. They also have 2 beautiful children Dalton and Addie and are anxiously awaiting travel to Columbia to adopt Dana Sophia.
Lynn’s goal is to pursue the plan that God has set forth and work with this church family in bringing others to know Christ.

Michael and Kellie Seger surrendered to missions in the fall of 2016. Subsequently, they accepted a call to serve as Co-Directors of Uganda House of Hope, a school and home for vulnerable children in Mbarara, Uganda in November 2016.
Prior to joining Shoal Creek in March 2018, Michael and Kellie worked in various school systems in North Mississippi. Michael taught Biology, coached basketball and cross country, and served as an administrative intern. He obtained his B.A. in Biology Education and his M.A. in Educational Leadership from The University of Mississippi. Kellie served as a special education teacher after obtaining her B.A. in Psychology from The University of Mississippi. She is also a Certified Academic Language Therapist with a M.E. in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College.
Michael and Kellie have two sons, Caden and Braden Parker.
